The siggemannen Method requires a ton of free time because it requires preparation in order to eek.  The best known example of this method being put to use would be the 2005 Atomic World Championship final.  Siggemannen knew that his opponent would be tipau and he spent a lot of time looking over tipau's games.

So what siggemannen was able to do was review tipau's openings and prepared accordingly for them.  He also looked into some new lines and found some other opening novelties and kept them under wraps until the match time came around.  Now most people don't think that this is eeking as it's been done for ages and grandmasters have seconds and analysis to help them do this but it is eeking.

Eeking via preparation is quite different from trying to eek everybody else.  You're preparing for one and only one opponent rather than anybody.  Siggemannen takes this to the extreme as he wouldn't play so tipau wouldn't have any games to analyze / gather his own information to eek siggemannen with.

And the final result of the 2005 Atomic World Championships was 9-1 in favor of siggemannen.  There's something to be said for tailoring your games and countering your opponent's plans with massive preparation.

Quite a few opening novelties came from that one match alone, especially from the 1.Nc3 opening.  You can look through the games to see the result of siggemannen's preparation.

And despite winning the 2005 Atomic World Championship, siggemannen then eekfails several times in atomic because apparently without massive preparation he isn't as dominant.  Who'd have thought?  Oh wait, his eeking method is massive preparation.  Thus, in order to eek someone like siggemannen, simply begin studying their openings and games.  Build up a opening book that counters everything they use.  Eek them and then never play them again without more preparation based on their new-found knowledge.
